The Wizard of Oz

from Bella on 09/25/2014 10:35 PM

Why, my oh my. I'm sure most of you have seen the wizard of Oz years ago,
but awkardly enough, I haven't.
I mean, I've seen stageplays on it, and the Musical Wicked, learned all songs in and out, and went to the theaters to see "Oz the great and Powerful" even twice!
But never have I come to actually watch the Original. Up, until, tonight.
And honestly? Why did nobody tell me it was so incredibly hillarious?
I know just the perfect real life cast of my friends
to portrait each and every character in it, no doubt about that!
And what's with that dress of Glinda?
I was like, hm, munchkins singing lalala... glitter glitter glitter... singing... glitter!!
So would be a cosplay option for myself.

What was supposed to be nothing but a mere search for young female monologues for auditions, turned into a night of laughter and jolly singing in my room.

So my tip: Even if you've seen this film over and over again, I'm sure it's been a while since the last time, so pull out that old DVD or VCR and see it right now. If you shall: Enjoy yourself and train those laugh muscles now!

The Vending Machine

from Bella on 09/24/2014 02:04 PM

Vending machienes usually spit out things we want to get. Like coins. Or gum.
Well, not this one.

Basically you *insert a coin* and the next person will tell you what comes out.
Maybe it's a Fashion Magazine, a 5-Course-Menue or a unicorn, who knows?
So sit back and look what it keeps for you!

*inserts coin*

Soo, basically everybody posts a movie title starting with the following letter of the Alphabet.
You can also add a 1-Sentence info about it, so people get ideas for what to watch next!

Aquamarine
A mermaid tries to proove true love exists to her father and learns about friendship.

The Cave

from Bella on 09/23/2014 04:04 PM

TheCave

Guys, I've just played the most fun pc game I've seen lately.
It's called The Cave and is by Double Fine.

Basically, it's a warm summer evening, when 7 characters get introduced by a talking, hillarious, cave.
There's The Timetraveler, The Knight, The Hillbilly, The Scientist,
The Adventurer, The Twins, and The Monk.
All of them have some hidden and dark past, that they need to face during the game.
You play 3 characters at a time and run through the maze-like cave to find their hearts desires and get back up, to see if they're learned a lesson from this journey or, well, not.
It's not really a dark game, but filled with sarcasm,
and black humor that will make you laugh, not only once.
(It might also turn out to be a very embarrasing reality tv show, but who knows...)
You can also play the game several times, to unlock and get through every character's part of the Cave. I've played it like 5 times, and I'm still not bored.
I got mine on Steam, but I'm sure you can find it online somewhere too if you're interested...

Have a seat and a beverage!

from Bella on 09/23/2014 03:43 PM

This is a cafe atmosphereish roleplay, but not a far fetched kind.
You stay yourself, but post like this *walks into the cafe and orders a steaming camomilla tea from the barista to look around for a spot to sit*, so you get all the feeling and sharing experience
And if you like, go and make yourself a cup in real life! It really helps relax!

Introduce yourself!

from Bella on 09/23/2014 03:14 PM

Eventually, all of you will know me, but maybe you won't know each other, so talk a little about who you are, the things you love, and what makes you crazy enough to be my friend. It opens wonderful gates to new friendships!

So, just in Case, my Name's Bella and I'm currently 19.
I always dream big and am very creative and pursuing.
I have two cats, Melody and Tamee, which are the most perfect creatures this earth has ever produced (After all, cats were holy gods in acient egypt!
I love to throw parties, play games (board and video), listen to music, write, sing, dance, and smile, smile, smile :)

Rules & Guidelines

from Bella on 09/23/2014 03:05 PM

Since this forum is just for my friends, to stay connected but also for them to get to know each other (or even introduce new people!), there are not many rules, because I trust your common sense and know that all of you are friendly and supportive.

Yet, I have to state the obvious, just for the record.

1. & formost: HAVE FUN and ENJOY YOURSELF. We're all just human! - Or are we? ;)

2. No harassment or bullying of any sort ever.
If you don't agree with what another sais, discuss it with them in a friendly manner, instead of hating. Should be clear anyways :)

3. No Spam and Advertisement posts (unless in the proper Forum section)
If people are interested in your work etc. they will check your profile or the Advertisement forum.

4. No rude or violating pictures or videos. Again, nothing I should have to explain.

5. If you insist on speaking another language than english with certain people in a topic, label it with a refering letter.
i.e. for a German thread: *G* for a french one: *FR* etc. (though I believe we're all capable of english enough to get along)
